New Ebay process - complaint

Has anyone sold on Ebay since they implemented their new payment system? I just made my first sale under new procedures. The sale was 2 days ago, and I have not received my payment from Ebay yet. I used to get immediate payment to PayPal. My other complaint is the fees (of course). They charge a final value fee on the cost of the item, the shipping charge, and the sales tax paid. It just feels like they are sucking up all my profits. My item sold for $99.00 and fees were $14.72. Definitely more that I can get selling at a garage sale, but fees are high. Does anyone else sell on other platforms? I have sold on Facebook and Craigslist, but I'm not in the mood to meet up with buyers during a pandemic. I prefer to ship what I'm selling.

I have sold on ebay with the new system. I like that there's one less player involved as PayPal has been removed from the process. Ebay raised their fees but I haven't sat down and figured out if the total is more, less, or the same as what it would have been before. I like that ebay pays me directly now.

As for selling on Marketplace, I've found that people really like contactless transactions. I leave the item on my front step, they pick it up and leave the money in our mailbox. We never see each other. Sure beats having to pack and ship everything. And there are zero fees that way.

Oh, I also like that ebay now handles the sales tax so I don't have to be bothered with that.

I still need to file my quarterly sales tax return, but I just enter Zero in all of the fields so it only takes me a minute or two.

I sold something on ebay for the first time in probably a decade, but to appears that it was before the new payment overhaul.

As for marketplace, that's my prefered place to sell. No issues meeting up with people during these times. Only had one contactless pickup. I stuck the money in an envelope on the person's door and took the item.
