      Also, given issues with USPS, I worry more and more about mail arriving in a timely manner. When I pay electronically I get immediate confirmation. And I pay several things you listed by credit card to rack up more rewards.

        That is exactly how I operate. There is no way to electronically pay my HOA fees and receive instant confirmation, but that is the only bill I have that goes through the standard mail anymore. And I don't have to mail it myself, because the bank does it for me.
