I wouldn't let someone on my system i didn't know either. The reason I do offer though is because if you don't know what you are looking for it can be a pain and a lot of time trying to explain how to do a lot of what we recommend. Also, if you don't do this for a living you don't really know what you are looking at and could make it worse. I'm still newer compared to many, so I can understand that. However, someone who has been around a while I would figure might have some level of trust. I guess not. lol
Also, when offering help you are assuming the other person even knows what they are talking about when trying to explain what's wrong. I have to decipher issues very often and it can easily be completely different than what they implied.
