Wow I didn't realize there were so many people here experienced in selling on Ebay.

I definitely want & need to contact them regarding the issue, but it isn't worth the hassle for my current listing. It is the type of listing that could have a lot of competition at any point, so I really don't want them messing around with it right now.
I have some thrift store finds that I need to list. Once my current listing ends I will put the thrift store items out there and seek their help.

I started selling collectibles in 1986 as an offshoot of my own personal collecting. I started with a 2-page photocopied list that I advertised in a couple of collector publications. That grew into a 45-page catalog. In 1994, the internet happened in our house and I started advertising on some collector message boards as well as the print ads. In 1997, I listed my first item on ebay and it sold for a great price and I was hooked. By 2000, I was running 100 auctions at a time. They were 10-day auctions back then and I listed 10 items per day, 7 days per week. At my peak, I was doing as much as $3,000/month gross sales.
Today, it's just something I dabble in now and then and I use it more to help declutter the house but I still have a large stock of collectibles and list some of those from time to time.Steve

I don't do collectibles as a rule but the Thrift Stores have many collectors who specialize in certain areas.
I see them, we are now on a first name basis lol. Seems more fun to find a niche market of something you already have knowledge about.

One of my best ebay sales ever was a cruise line display model that I bought at a yard sale for $1 and sold on ebay 10 days later for $215.Steve

Perhaps I should create an "all things eBay" thread. Partially for posting your success stories, but mostly for posting the frustration!!!!!!!!!!!!
[insert emoticon cursing emphatically]
Sigh.
When I view My eBay it tells me I have an "unanswered question." It is a clickable link, but it just takes me back to my messages. I suspect that is the norm but there is probably an actual question in your inbox for you to read. But not the case for my account.I have read and responded to all messages in my inbox, but I can't get rid of this message. And none of the messages I have are questions.
So did someone ask a question about my auction??? The hell if I know!!!
