well i guess i put myself out there. as someone who has been,is or is going to be bad with money. hopefully im done with being bad with money. but as the story goes. i grew up comfortable. both my parents had union jobs. but money wasnt talked about or better yet saving money wasnt talked about. at one point they both drove cadillacs. father had a boat and belonged to a boat club. we had massive 4th of july partys. were talking 80# steamships of beef. fireworks trashbarrels full of beer. we lived in the biggest house on the street. 2 driveways pool chainlink all the way around. they paid 17 grand for there house in 1975. they moved to florida in i think 2008/9 and owed over 150k. wtf and up to that point i was heading for the same thing. i looked at that and said not me. thats what they taught me. so a few years ago i was absolutely up to my ears in debt. we were only making minimum payments. and just getting by. somtimes charging grocery's. and making almost 80~90k a year. but thats when i said no more. as a matter of fact im about to make 3 loaves of my own bread. there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel. so to wrap it up. i wasnt taught anything about money management. just how to spend it.
