My sister has 3 kids, 24, 20 & 17, she has an above ground pool with a trek deck 1/2 way around it. This is the 3rd summer for the pool. Her kids never get in it, they don't like it, think its boring, never ask their friends over cause the pool is boring.

Sister loves it, and I love it! I'm over there everyday I am off that the weather is nice. But kids are fickle. I would never get a pool because my kids would probably be the same way.

We have a medium-sized above-ground pool at home; it cost about $ 6,000. There are no regrets. We use it very often, even put a canopy over it to swim in cloudy weather. Among the additional accessories, we took a water heater and a pool skimmer https://poolcareschool.com/pool-skimmer/. My son works out in the pool almost every day and dreams of getting into the school swimming team. I agree with you that the underground pool looks beautiful, but it was unnecessarily expensive for us. The ground pool meets our needs perfectly. So I advise you don't overpay for unnecessary things.
