  • how do you manage you telecom expenses

How much is your telecom expenses and how do you manage it? Is there some kind of a tool that could track down our telecom expenses?

I have a family of 4, so my telecom expenses run about $300 a month - everyone has an iPhone 6.

    I don't guess I manage it - I just pay it.

I pay ~$70/month for home internet through Comcast and ~$76/month for talk, text, and data on two iPhones through Ting. There's not much to manage. The bills come in, and the bills get paid. Sometimes the cell phone bill varies if we spend a lot of time on the phone or need to use a lot of data, but it doesn't usually vary by more than $10 or so.

What exactly are you trying to manage? Are you using a plan where you get charged for usage and seeing a great deal of variance? Or do you suspect you have telecom expenses that you don't know about?

        Telecom expenses

        Hi,

My use is very minimal and hardly use it for calling. I have chosen the best suitable plan offering me the facilities as per my needs.

Pardon my lack of understanding, but are you ask about telecommunications or telecommuting?

My needs for the first are very simple, just use internet based services on laptop and a prepaid non-internet service.

For the second, when I did that, my needs were also very simple--one broadband connection plus some paper records and a reasonably supportive yet comfortable chair.

My cell phone is free through work...wifes cell phone is $70/month.

How do we manage it? When the bill comes we pay it through our bank.

On a side note...time to threadjack since no one understands wth OP is asking...Ive been playing with googles project fi service. Its awesome. Unless you depend on cellular data nonstop...theres no reason to not use it. If you are primarily on wifi its a no brainer. Unlimited text/voice and you pay by the gig. If you use under the amount you choose they credit you. It will use sprint or tmobile while not on wifi to make calls.

I tried to convince my wife to switch but shes your typically apple fanboy...minus the boy part. Her bill could be less than $30/month. Note: only 2 models work with project fi...both are nexus phones which are awesome to begin with but they are android...gasp!!

Two of my friends have started using Google's Project Fi and they're both pretty happy with it. One was an early adopter and said he had some problems switching between wi-fi and cellular at first but that it works great now. He just wishes he had a smaller phone.

I like to have an iPhone because my job involves writing iOS apps, and I like to be able to use what I make. So, carriers that don't support iPhones are not an option for me right now. But, it's not like there's a shortage of low cost carriers that support iPhones. I've been pretty happy with Ting so far.

Yeah I heard at first it was a little wonky but after some updates its much better. Ive heard good things about ting as well...low prices if you watch your cellular data usage like any other carrier.

I really like my iphone (my work has the 6s.) But if I had to pay I probably wouldnt have one. I dont use my smartphone too much to begin with so im not really loyal to any brand/carrier.

Home phone line cost is $0, as we use google voice over broadband.

Three cell phones cost $45 total per month.

I have cricket, switched 3 months ago, my cell phone bill is $87 for 3 lines, unlimited text/talk and 2.5gb each of data. I have an iPhone 6s, I got the best trade in at Apple and brought the phone to Cricket. My folks got the $1 smartphones at Cricket. They are crap but they only do the very basics so it's fine for them.

I switched from AT&T and am very pleased so far. If it was me alone, my bill would be $30. And I got a $100 credit for bringing in 2 lines.

How I wish that my telecom expenses would go down even up to 25%. I already heard about it and I'm also interested. Upon reading reviews online, it is not easy to find a reliable telecom management services. Their verdicts would say that its difficult to cut down expenses without a good system or a reliable software. But, there's a tool that could keep track of services, costs and could even improve transactions. I think, we have to inquire about it and find out more.

I am referring to telecom management expense. Actually, I saw a link which I think can provide what I exactly need "https://www.cassinfo.com/en/Telecom-...y-telecom.aspx". I am not sure how reliable it is but if you have ideas about it, please share it to me. TIA
