greenskeeper, you are 100% correct that COVID-19 was first identified in China. No argument there at all. But picking your own name for the virus and refusing to use the actual name, even after being told repeatedly that the term you are using is offensive, isn't acceptable.

Second, your views are important and I think your points merit discussion. Your post count is outstanding and my belief is that you offer a substantial contribution to the forums.
I made the decision because the country is going through a crazy time right now. Frankly its important to keep the forums as an oasis of respectful sanity that doesn't contribute to people having a bad day.
