1,958 miles total driving in 5 days. Now back to work!

We probably won't be returning anytime soon to Northwest, at least not for a very long time. Winter travel in the North is brutal. We attended two funeral (Seattle and BC). The trip to Williams Lake BC 8-9 hours trip from Seattle.

We spent a total of $120.00 of our own money include food and lots of stops to Starbucks along the way.

I didn't realize you were also going to Wm Lake. They call this an exceptionally mild winter, hope you didn't have problems with immigration, passports, or highway travel. Incredibly modest expenses, isn't Seattle the 'birthplace' of Starbucks?

That's correct. But we didn't have time to visit Seattle, mainly stayed with the family, no hotels or food needed.

It was no problem crossing the border. It was almost faster than a take out burger--no lines or waiting, they just needed to show our passport. Good thing we travelled at night.

Once we get up North, all the lakes were frozen at 25-34 F degrees. But the driving experience wasn't too bad. But I wouldn't do that again unless it was during the summer.
