I did something that really helped me when I had a credit card. Instead of waiting every 4 weeks to make the minimum payment, I gave them $5 extra each week, and then when the bill came 4 weeks later, I gave them the minimum payment. For instance, the monthly payment is $35 a month. For one month, you can have an extra $20 paid on that bill.
