* Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
* Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
* There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

They have Amazon wish lists, but it's all pretty niche stuff.
So, no real black friday deals to be had on it.
Free shipping is about all that I'm going to score this yearSteve

I had an interesting conversation with my brother in law this year. He president of a kitchenware retailer here in Portland, Oregon. What he is saying is that black friday type deals will realistically be extended through the Christmas shopping season. This is based on the retailer price emails he's seeing from the product reps he deals with. The reason is that the post thanksgiving shopping season has been compressed by a week this year, so retailers have less time to turn a profit.
Whats hot this year are:
1. Instapot type appliances
2. Good quality kitchen knives

For Cyber Monday, they have a number of stores that have 20% cash back.
ThanksBrian

Not really a Cyber Monday sale but it was an online purchase made today. A week or two ago we happened to be in Barnes and Noble. My wife saw a book that she liked so I made myself a note to get it for her. I went to B&N's website today and the book is $22.46. Then I checked Amazon and the very same book was $11.13, half the price, so I ordered it there. Plus, Discover has 5% cashback for Amazon currently so I had that additional savings.Steve
