Blog Comments are Not Working Right...Yet Again

So blog commenting is not working again for at least the 20th time this year (not exaggerating, it is probably higher). Even though you are logged in, when you go to comment it logs you out. You log in again, it still logs you out. When you say screw it, and just type in your info, it still won't post (except on the few rare occasions it randomly does for a day or two). Please fix this. It is a near constant aggravation. It is a consistent issue. And it is extremely frustrating. We are a community on the blogs just as much as you are one in the forums. Imagine if you couldn't comment on forum posts every two weeks or so for a couple of years and how much that would mess up the forums and how it would make people stop posting altogether. That's what it is like for us. Many of us have complained about this issue more than once. We would really like a permanent fix, not just one that works for a week or two and then stops. We never, ever used to have issues like this on the blogs, but for the last two years this keeps happening. I've been blogging here since 2006. I know it can be done, because it worked fine for years. Please figure this out and make it work properly again.

I'm not sure if I'm ever really logged in! I type www.savingadvice.com/blogs to get to the page and it shows I'm logged in. From there, I hit My Blog or New Entry. This is the only place I can start a blog from. If I simply hit My Blog I can see my blog posts, but it doesn't show me as logged in from this page. I am not having trouble commenting on blogs, but I have to type in my user name, email EVERY TIME. So as you can see, we are working around some major problems on the blogs. I am unable to edit my own comments or delete spam comments on my blog because there is no way to stay logged in to access these options. These are major issues, likely keeping new bloggers from even starting a blog or staying around very long. It's very tempting to move elsewhere to write, but as Lucky Robin said, we are a community, so I would prefer to stay.
