Hi Guys - here is a small tip for you. If you have two or more types of insurance with the same insurance company - get those accounts linked up and you might get a discount.
We have a homeowners insurance and car insurance policies with GEICO. We didn't have them linked, so my wife called and discussed the issue with the customer service representative. We got discounts on both policies for linking the accounts. We got a $15 dollar rebate on the auto policy and a $8 refund on the homeowners insurance.
The checks came in the mail yesterday.
Not bad for 10 minutes of work.
Bottom line: link your insurance accounts and ask for a discount, don't rely on the companies to do it for you.
