  • How to make a payment/money transfer which cannot be cancelled?

I've done a bit of googling and it appears it's possible for an account holder to cancel a pending financial transaction (=money going out of their account).

Are there any transfers which cannot be cancelled at all? What would these look like?

I think any type of electronic transfer could be cancelled until it is actually processed.

If you want to be certain a payment can't be cancelled, you probably want to do something like a money order or cashier's check. That way once you mail off the payment, there's no way to take it back.

I'm curious why you asked. What is it you're trying to accomplish?
