Learning New Boards

So when you are at Forum Home, how do you see the new posts? I can only figure out how to do it by going to each subforum and clicking on filter, today. But I don't want to go to each subforum. Is there a way to do it from the "Home" page??

If you click on the little 3 horizontal line icon on the upper left, one of the options on the drop down menu is New Topics. I?m just not sure what that shows. Is it just all new posts or only new threads? I haven?t figured out yet.

Yes New Topics shows today's/unread posts.

Do we have to update our avatar or I wonder if they will eventually come back? I can see mine looking at the Forums, but in a specific thread I got the generic guy.

You'll need to update your avatar. It needs to be resized. Go to your personal dash board and click on it to edit it.

How exactly do we do that? I'm not seeing my avatar in a place I can edit it. It shows up next to my recent posts in my profile but I'm not sure how to access the image.

Steve click on your name in the upper right hand corner there's a drop-down menu that will say profile from there you can find your avatar

Mine was there. I just had to resize it to fit the pane.
You might have to browse your computer and reload it.

mine wasn't there and for some reason I couldn't download anything from the internet so I just picked a picture that I had on my camera

I couldn't actually find it but was able to find the image again and reinstall it.

I saw this discussion, and figured I would add an Avatar for the first time since being around here for 10 years... Lol
