Okay so I'm going forward with my app creation but was wondering if anyone knows how I can find investors to propose my idea to. Is there like a website or something?

Thank you @Green43 I did and seems like something I may give a go. Although I'm not lacking steady employment nor am I lacking verifiable credit history and I wouldn't exactly classify myself as impoverished but hey if they'll go for it I'll go for it. And I'm sure Xamarin won't care where the money comes from lol
@youngblud I know what you mean but not quite sure how that is relevant unless you have some grease and you hear my wheel squeaking.

I'm contemplating how to get my own idea for an app made as well.
I'd say for funding you should copyright the idea. Then throw it on kickstarter. Be sure to design a pretty appealing and comprehensive pitch. Possibly you could cut down the cost by finding a developer that is in school or working freelance. Also possibly use bargaining a % of revenue to offset the cost and it would help influence the developer to do a better job on the app probably.

1. You can't copyright ideas.
2. It's no easy to find someone to write the app for you (especially if all you can give in return is a share of the company).
3. It's a lot more difficult to find investors, outside of friends and family.
4. Your best best is to learn to write the app yourself.
