Simulation/Game: Can you live on $1000 per month?

I just ran across this online simulation (game) about surviving with only $1000. It only takes about 5-10 minutes to play. I've played it a couple of times and I've run out of money and survived the month (but couldn't pay next month's rent). I think it does a pretty good job highlighting some of the difficulties people in that situation face. Did you make it through the month?

I think everyone should have to go through this game if they don't have to go through it in their own lives. Makes you more empathetic to others in tough financial scenarios
