    We live in an older condo complex where the majority of residents are retired. 50-55 y/o seems average as these folks have worked sufficient years to get defined pensions and our medical system eliminates that concern. DH opted to take a buy-out from one employer and stepped into his second career the following week. He loves his work and would be bored out of his mind of he retired. I've opted to reduce the number of contracts I take this year and have not yet noticed the difference in income but will see it in the portfolio by June.
