Some of you who have been on here awhile will recognize the name of Sicily Yoder. She passed away this weekend. Here is part of a message I received, from he friend Betty.
..."our dear Amish Author Sicily Yoder passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014. I had tried to post it on here but could not get it completed until now.
Plans are for visitation to be at Gash Funeral Home, 332 South Main Street, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342 at 5:00 pm. The funeral is scheduled for Thursday at 1:00 pm.
Teresa did not have any life insurance. This leaves her mother with having to come up with $1200.00 before Wednesday or the visitation will not take place.
If anyone would like send a memorial in her honor, please contact Gash Funeral Home at 502-839-6901 for more information on how to donate in Teresa/Sicily's memory. Ask to speak to Wanda Gash or the person in charge of memorials for Teresa Phillips.
I do not have all of the information for Teresa's mother.
Teresa was a kind, loving, and generous person. It would be wonderful if everyone that she had helped in the past would now come forward and return the favor.
Teresa will be greatly missed in her hometown. We already miss her terribly!!!"
