Re: One Wish
PEACE. It may sound corny but I really believe that complete peace in the world would solve most of the world's problems. The immediate problems of death and destruction that would be stopped are obvious. But then we would also have the money and time to solve other problems like hunger, pollution, disease,.....I could go on and on. And as an end result some of my personal problems would probably be resolved in the process also (health, etc.)

Re: One Wish
If I had two wishs it would be money and peace. But because I only have one I would much prefer to have peace than money.
The world should be a peaceful place and there shouldn't be wars or terrorism.
We should all get on with each other as a large nation.

Re: One Wish
lol!...I am sitting here, sipping coffee from my "UN-We Believe/Peace" mug! ...Now, if the wish were for yourself only, and you could NOT wish for peace in the world...right now I would probably ask for good health for my whole family! (THAT would save us a bundle!)...

Re: One Wish
I guess everyone agrees that peace and good health are most important. But....as someone said,I beleive, we can't really control those things. So I bet the next wish that we all would have-if it has to be a tangible object-would be money. Enough money woud make just about anything possible for me. I think. Although even with a lot of money it would still take some doing to convince my dh to move to a warmer climate. It's not that he likes this cold climate so much, it's just that he hates to move.
Then, on the other hand, I might wish to be young again and do a lot of things differently. Many of which still have to do with money.
How about losing some weight without going on a diet? That would be nice. And doesn't involve money. Pam

Re: One Wish
For the world: An end to hunger-as Ghandi said there is enough in the world for everyone's need but not greed- if everyone had enough food there would be less disease, exploitation, crime and war
For me: Enough to live on so we could move to the coast where DH could concentrate on writing and other stuff
