Me exactly $400, I plan on giving a $50 bill to each niece (3) and nephew (1) and other family members. I will not shop for gifts.

How much will you spend this Christmas?

I normally set a limit for myself of ~$100 per person. I only really give gifts to my immediate family + my girlfriend, so this year that would max out at $400.
Due to circumstances this year though, I may not even approach that. My plan is to gift one brother something I already own, and my other brother is on a church mission, so his needs are sparse -- a few little things will suffice. My father never wants much in the way of gifts, so it may just be something small for him as well. So that just leaves my GF -- I think I'll have no problem spending around my limit, but I'll likely keep to it. I've learned in past years to set a limit (both $$ and recipients) and stick to it, otherwise the holidays get crazy expensive.

$330.
Because of just getting engaged, and deciding to get married next April, I've cut my Christmas present budget by $10 per person in my family (5 people, from $50 each down to $40 each), and my fiance's gift from $200 to $100. I may talk to him about doing just a small gift and putting the rest towards his wedding ring, or something. I also have 3 bosses, which the office requests $10 to each one at Christmas.

We're not doing anything special this Christmas, so we're planning on keeping the spending as low as possible.

I'd like to keep it under $300. Preferably around $200.
Husband has 5 siblings, 1 niece. So $10 present each for them. = $60
4 parents $10 to $20 each = $40 - $80
Husband $50 - $75
Me $50-$75 is what I'm guessing he we will spend
$200 is goal, but we will go to $300 if we see things we can't pass up.

I personally believe in the adage - "Respect your current financial situation." Unless you respect your financial situation, things will become tough for you. Depending upon that, you should allot specific amount of money for every gift.
