I was browsing around for ideas to make "extra" money and came upon a suggestion of selling hair. I thought it sounded a bit ridiculous at first, but then I thought about it. I have naturally reddish, very thick hair. Thanks to these characteristics, I can get about $400 for 12 inches of my hair 
. I found a calculator online that estimates the value. (If anyone is interested, I'll try to find the link.) I thought because I straighten my hair, the value might be a lot lower, but it only made a difference of about $100. I wonder how many times I can grow it out before I go gray!
