  • Complicated Job Restrictions

One of the things I do as a hobby is find my friends jobs, but I've hit an absolute wall. I have a friend who is *miserable* at her job, but does not feel as though she can leave because she needs money. She and her boyfriend live on a very narrow margin.

However, she has a lot of restrictions that is making it difficult.
-She mostly works in prop production. She's good with her hands, but...
    -She has severe dyslexia, and...
-She has real problems with math
-She has seizures, so she can't operate heavy machinery or drive for work (so no assistanting/delivery work)
-The thing about the seizures has gotten out in her field, so she's pretty much been snubbed from any prop production places.

She is beautiful and has worked as a model, but she needs steadier work.
She has worked as camera crew, but is not union

After combing through a job site, I only found a couple of things she might be good at, like working in a gardening center or photography assistant (she has done that before).

I'm at a loss. I want to help her. She is good people. Any suggestions?

I would start the opposite way -- sit down and talk to her about the things that she really enjoys doing. Hobbies, free time, bucket list, etc. From there you can start to figure out jobs that may appeal to her the most and it will likely narrow your focus when looking for job opportunities.
