I will always spend money on books for my children but I will save money on this by buying them used from thrift stores and garage sales, and getting books for gifts through "Books Are Fun"

What is one expenditure you won't change, and how do you keep costs down?

I will always spend money on food. Period! No buts! I will try and save money by purchasing on sale and freezing but it is the one thing I never skimp on...

I will always spend money on high speed internet service. I will save and earn money using the internet for information, banking, selling things, advertising, and entertainment.

I will always spend money on the grooming and health care of my puppy, but the joy she gives me pays me back many many times over!!!

I will always spend money on traveling, but I will always aim for cheaper places, find the cheapest flights, and find interesting, local, low priced accomodations to make the trip lower cost.

i will always spend money on my horses, but i will save by trying to do my own haying and getting feed on sale.

I will always spend money on my vehicle. Not stupid, crazy money..........but regular, upkeep sort of money. I'm not getting stranded with the kind of kids I have..........that would really put me over the edge.

I also spend $$ on this vehicle but won't ever consider buying a new vehicle.

I will always spend money going out on a date to eat with my dh, because I enjoy our "together time" so much, but I do try and order something cheap and drink water!!

Like lrjohnson, I will always spend money on travel. But I never stay in expensive hotels or eat in expensive restaurants. I don't mind youth hostels (even though I am not a "youth" anymore) and picnics.

My little space heater on supercold mornings like this one. The day will warm up, so it is not necessary to start a fire in the stove...but my toes want to be warm NOW...but I will turn it off as soon as I am warm and layer up as much as possible so I don't run the electric bill too high!

Christmas and birthdays....(combined with all the non-cost enjoyment of the events)...I love giving and will always make the events special. But...I will plan for these expenses and save a little each month so that there is NO cc debt incurred.

I will always spend on a movie to see but will always bring my own drink and treats (read apple slices or jello) and go during the cheap time or when i can use my free passes from the comapny for my surveys i have to do.

I will always spend money on pictures but I save by using my digital camera and printing only the ones I want - and using coupon codes for online printing services.

I will always spend money modding my car but Ill continue buying parts when on sale and used if I can.
