Perhaps I had some special requests or a particularly large order and they did a really good job accommodating everything and did it with a smile. On those few occasions, I tossed my change in the jar.
    I patronize a few local restaurants where they have a tip jar and you're just ordering food at the counter to go, but they've given me larger portions or extra food to sample when I'm hesitant about trying something new. I have always left a tip in those situations.
