TONS of stuff. Here is my list just from Fri shopping:

discounted salad kit
1 lb cottage cheese (after coupon)
1 lb pkg hot dogs
1 lb pkg balogna
2 pkg America cheese slices
head of romaine
5 plum tomatoes
3 small avocados
1 wine glass (matches several I have)
bag of 100 cotton balls
pkg 4 diamond nai files
polish remover
nail clipper
60 count low dose aspirin

All the non-food items were bought at a dollar store. I have 2 I pass regularly. Many of the food items were actually <$1.

Go to yard sales, and you can get amazing items for $1 (just saying).

This summer I can't remember all the deals I got for $1 or less. The past 2 weekends I have gotten 5 books for $1 total (listed one on half.com for $50 - new its $125), got 35 new canning lids for $0.50 (probably $6 new), 2 workout t-shirts for $0.25 each (nice quality), half bottle of 100 load Tide detergent for $1, some classic Pyrex dishes ($1 each), Fireplace Quickstarts for my girlfriend's fireplace (1/2 box for $1, usually go for about $40 for the box), and honestly I forget what else. I get sticker shock when I go to a WalMart .

The dollar store I go to sells marajuana test kits, pregnancy tests, and hair dye. You can put those on a list of things you can get for a dollar, but probably shouldn't.
