    Of course, bUU.

    You have all the answers.

Like I said, come work in my world for awhile and see where that money is getting spent. Until you do, there really is no sense in trying to have a discussion with you,

Folks, please don't make me shut down my own thread. Discussing ideas and concepts is fine. Attacking each other is not.

      * Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
      * Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
      * There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

Came in on the tail end of the recent line of comments. Apologies on dragging your thread off topic. I will refrain from posting a response to the off-topic topic.

Just to be clear, I don't mind the off-topic tangent as long as the conversation stays civil and polite.

            Disneysteve,
Will they make good on the 2% cut later on or is this the new rate from now on? I think it is terrible that they are making the cut on the backs of the service providers. I am a little surprised because I thought medicare was not going to be impacted by the budget negotiations (for now, anyway.)

The cut went into effect April 1st.

Social Security and disability payments to beneficiaries were exempt from the budget cuts, but Medicare reimbursements to service providers and administration expenses for both Social Security and Medicare will be affected just like most other government operations.
