    When I saw this post I thought the same thing Shaggy. Getting things done- David Allen. Made the finance stuff easy. Excellent for office people or appointment based work.

      My best time management strategy is to list my entire tasks for the day. Then, set an estimated amount of time when working on each task. It helps me limit wasted time and get things done. Self discipline plays a big role when working on each task to follow schedule. I personally use a tool called Time Doctor to track time accurately on real time. With self discipline and the right tools I believe you can effectively manage time.

        Identify which tasks for you are the ones you spend the most time on. For many, it is email. So only check email right before lunch, and right before you go home, for example.

        Also prioritize tasks, there are 4 categories

        immediate and long term
        urgent and not urgent

        make sure long term non urgent tasks get done before they are immediate. One trick I have heard is to do one of these tasks each day.
