I am thinking to get a ROKU, but have a question - does it have any parental control features. I have setup Parental Controls with my cable TV, so thats something i would like to have in the replacement device, roku or anything similar out there?

Not presently. The only thing you can do is restrict the channels that are available on your Roku, but not specific content, and not based on ratings. Here's the official response to your question directly from Roku.
