  • Working online

    Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with online jobs. I was looking for way to make more income by working online (developing apps, writing articles...).

Any thoughts? Cons, pros and where to find work..

    Thanks

I earn a full-time living writing online. Here are a couple of resources you can explore:

demandstudios.com - Difficult to get in but good rates and pays regularly, if you're accepted. You need to choose from one of their thousands of articles to write.

hubpages.com - No qualifications to get in and you can write about anything you want. You earn money from ads and affiliate marketing, so how much you make, and whether you make anything, depends on how well you market your articles, and whether your writing finds an audience.

I only supplement my income with money online. I use Squidoo.com to write articles for money, its basically the same as Hubpages though.

If you can write and develop apps, you might find some success in one of the freelance marketplaces, such as guru.com. Another idea would be to offer your services at fivrr (where you offer to do a task for $5), tenrr (where you offer to do a task for $10), or taskarmy (where you can offer to do a task for more.)

Before I took up investing, I'd do SEO writing for dirt-cheap. You learn a lot about internet marketing though.

I'm making my living out of online jobs. I do different kind of jobs and based on my experience the best places to find job online are Odesk and Elance. They are like work portals where employers post their job hirings and workers can apply to them based on the worker's expertise.

Check out Amazon Turk - you can make a few bucks there.

I wouldn't use it as a main source of income, but there are definite opportunities out there to make some extra money. I personally do some PPC advertising in my spare time to make a few bucks here and there.

You can do freelancing tasks, check these trusted sites:
Elance - I love Elance for outsourcing, and on the flip side, it could be a great way to make money online as a freelancer.
                        oDesk – Same as Elance.
Microworkers – Make money by performing mini-tasks. I wrote a review on Microworkers early last year.
Mechanical Turk - Owned by Amazon, this site is similar to Microworkers, but maybe a bit more sophisticated.
Fiverr – Make money online by offering virtually any service or mini-task…the catch is, you have to charge $5!

I am working online too. The advantage is that you don't have to wake up early to prepare to go to the office, saves gas, and don't need to update your wardrobe frequently since you are working online. But the disadvantage is that sometimes it's so boring.
