I keep hearing these radio spots that a local bank has been running for personal loans. For some reason they rub me the wrong way. I guess that I shouldn't be surprised by them, but they are pretty shameless. In the one ad there is a family that is stressed out and over worked, so they head to the bank to get a loan for a vacation. In another, a guy wants to have his buddies over for the football game, so he gets a loan for a big screen tv. It makes me want to throw something at my radio. That's my rant for Friday. Have a good weekend everyone.

Wow, that would bug me too. I guess it might be slightly better than putting those things on a credit card, but vacations and tvs are definitely not the sorts of things people need to be buying at all if they don't have cash.

I had to check the date on this post.

It sounded like the same things that were going on around 2007 when it was a "great idea" to take out a home equity loan to go vacation or buy that special something you've always wanted Times don't change I guess.

I like the one where they say "go ahead, you deserve it!".

I'm always like "how do they know I deserve it? Maybe I'm a total b?"
