Definitely. In our grad school days, we donated time, food, etc. to various causes instead of cash, helped the family in our church whose house had burned down, etc. Literally given the coat off my back to someone when I had no money; they needed it more than I did. Now more cash donations. We give as we have.

yes.. we tithe.. Both time and money.
I believe in the 10% rule..
dave Ramsey always tells his listeners / callers.. Only tithe on the part you want Blessed :-)

Time and money. Though responsibilities are somewhat cycled in our church, right now it's more time, sometimes it's less. Count me in though, giving is powerful.

You better believe I'm a tither. My blessings have been four-fold! Tithing above and beyond 10% placed Wee CJ and I where we are today...with our needs met and regaining everything we lost before becoming Christians, only better!

My friends, one does not need a church home to tithe. There are pastors like Billy Graham, Charles Stanley, etc., who broadcast their sermons over radio and internet. One can contribute to their ministries. Another idea would be to find a church based organization like a pregnancy center or orphanage to give to.

Definitely a tither! Although I didn't tithe until I joined my current Church. Tithing has brought about many blessings for me and my family.

We tithe pretax, too.

i give more time then money. My kids are in my oldest sons fiances church/youth group. My oldest son jake does give money to it and im sure its more then 10%. His Fiance,Sara, is the youth group organizer. She has sang all over the country too. Shes gotten my wee ones way into it too! My son Nathaniel,9, was just on stage last Sunday, with a mic and all, hamming it up.lol. I dont have alot of money to give, not right now anyhow. Im usually spending what i could give on healthy snacks for my 3 kids classes. Their education is most important to me and i feel they do better, with fresh fruit, then cookies.

yep, most if not all financial gurus say to give some money away whether or not they call it tithing.

My husband and I tithe 10% right off the top, and 10 % goes into Savings. We attribute the savings idea from MR. Dave Ramsey. We take his FPU class at church. We find that if you tithe 10% NO MATTER WHAT, BEFORE BILLS FOR EXAMLPE, and you are failthful to HIM he WILL BE faithful to you! Praise the LORD! We have see Him work in our lives countless number of times. I firmly believe that our churchs could do more for people that need help if our regular attenders and members tithed regularly. Thanks for listening.

Yes.. 10% plus any other help we can give (like helping with the Habitat for Humanity house, or when we donate our computer knowledge in clearing up problems).
