I graduated HS in 1998 and I still have some t-shirts and dress pants from senior year
I'm still wearing stuff then from when you would have been in junior high! LOL. One of the joys of becoming an adult is generally staying the same size. Earlier this summer I trashed two pairs of shorts that I remember I got before going to Boston in 1992 to have oral surgery done! I guess they were due. It is always the elastic that dies before the fabric, unless it is cheap polyester. One of the reasons that smart adults buy or make clothing in classic designs and colors. Spend more on them as they should last a long time. Then if you must, buy cheap clothes in current fashion and colors since they will look dated soon.

Couple weeks ago I was in Maui and went to the top of Haleakala to watch the sunrise. I brought an old button up thick shirt to wear since its really cold. Ive had it 15 years. After we watched sunrise and left, we stopped at Walmart to get some supplies. I took the shirt off before I went inside and sat it on top of the trash can. When we came back out it was gone. I'm hoping it went to a good home or someone that needed it. (I knew it was a one way trip for that shirt before I left for vacation. I needed some extra storage in my backpack for the plane ride home...not to mention I was sick of that shirt and didnt wear it too often anymore.)

I still wear clothes from about three or four years ago. If they still look good and don't have multiple holes (one is fine lol) then I will wear clothes for a very loooonnng time.

        No shame in my game!
