I'd do better in the other thread, as I'd put it either toward our IRA or our new house fund. But, I'll try anyways.

Take a trip around Australia (this wouldn't cost much, as we're already here). Cruises can be crazy expensive here, but I think $10k would do the trick

$250 audio system on Gumtree (like Craigslist) I've been eyeing.

Another TV. Either a 32" to put in our bedroom, or a better tv than our 40" lcd (and move that in our bedroom).

    A trunk for our scooter.

Extra pair of school pants (or two) for our son.

New belt for me, and maybe some dressy shoes (something dressier than sneakers).

Maybe an ipad or three, but that's probably going to be bought around next March, so....

Go all out on our son's birthday party.

I suppose we could look at a newer car and scooter, but ours are working fine.

We could fly some of our family out to see us, but only one has a passport, and she's already planning on paying her own way.

Give some to our son so he can donate to his school?

What kind of timeframe does this money have to be spent? Cause saying something like "Gonna go to Antarctica" means it has to be saved, since we can't exactly stop everything and go on that long of a trip right now.

OMG I would definitely buy myself a newer car with better gas mileage and less miles on it. My car right now has 127,000 miles on it and it's definitely beginning to have problems (like the trunk leaking when it rains). So I'd buy a newer car.

Or go on vacation. I'm dying to go on vacation, but Hubby and I are saving up to buy a house. So vacation is out of the question right now. So if I came into $10,000 I'd go on vacation and put the rest towards buying my house.

I had a boring answer in the other thread too.

For this thread, I'm going to have fun! An all out vacation for my family (parents, sisters, nephews). We've been looking at doing an Alaskan cruise soon - my parents are dying to go.

It would be nice to travel and see some nice places around and spend some more time with family.

Clothes since I only have 3 shirts and two pairs of pants currently. ($1,500)

An epic gaming computer, totally high end. ($3,000)

              A new Monitor. ($350)

Watch, wallet, GPS, Android phone. ($1,000)

New Toaster, Deep Fryer, Blender ($300)

Sheets, pillows, pillow cases, towels, rags. ($100)

And stock up on some groceries. ($200)

High end stove and Fridge ($3,600)

That's about it. Funny how every single thing besides a house and sports bike that I want I could afford to buy for just about $10,000.
