  • Page formatting problem with Facebook and Twitter links

Am I the only one seeing a formatting problem with the Facebook, Twitter and Google links at the top?

Massive white space with the links stacked on the far left? No, I'm seeing the same thing and was wondering about that... Actually, I didn't even ever notice them being there in the past. Are they new, or am I just that oblivious?

...speaking of oblivious, DS... I only just realized that you've earned the auspicious honor and distinction of "$ Saving GURU"

I don't know if the links are new but the formatting issue is definitely new.

And thanks for the acknowledgement. I think 15,000 posts was the tipping point for "guru". Of course, that could be 15,000 posts full of crap so I'm not sure the title necessarily means much.

I have NoScript turned on, which blocks all the Javascript on the page, so all I see is a link that says "Tweet." When I turn NoScript off, I see the same formatting issue that you describe. I first noticed the Tweet link yesterday, so I am guessing that it's new.

I've never noticed them before either but I see the buttons and how many times people have hit each. I see Google +1 got a big 1

And congrats on the "Guru" status Steve, you deserve it. We came on here around the same time and you've definitely been one of the "go to" guys around here.

Speaking of which, I see I finally hit the "College Junior" status after all these years. I think I have a long way to go and a lot of posts to write until I reach "Senior". I feel sorry you all of you having to put up with my ramblings as I work towards that milestone

I noticed it like a day or two ago. Thought it was just an issue with my browser.

Now I think Jeffrey is trying to give us a hint

I don't remember seeing them anywhere on the site before, but I typically ignore them anywhere I see them. So they could have been here all along!

Agreed with the others about deserving the Guru title

Nate has ben fooling around with some small stuff -- it's a browswer issue. He works in Chrome and it looks fine there (at the far right), but definitely not in other browsers. He is aware and it should be fixed today. Thanks.

I use IE and I notice when I hover over the buttons, only the Google one will display "Publicly recommended on Google". It does look as if the other buttons work though.
