The ONLY site to get truly free scores is annualcreditreport.com.
The one you see on the commercials isn't free. You have to sign up for some credit monitoring service.

You can get free credit reports at annualcreditreport.com, but not credit scores.

You can't get true FICO scores for free. You can buy 2 of them at myfico.com. I believe Experian no longer sells scores to the public.

Those are FAKOs too, not real FICO scores. You can buy your Equifax and TransUnion-based FICO scores at myFICO.com, but consumers no longer have direct access to their Experian-based FICO scores.

I applied and was approved for a Walmart Credit Card and you get a free monthly FICO score when you choose electronic statements. I have no plans to use the card, but got it so that I can get the free FICO score.

This is a great deal if anyone is interested in adding the Walmart credit card to their wallet. The credit score they offer each month is your TransUnion-based FICO '08 score.
