I've been getting a lot of "privacy policies" lately from the banks I do business with about limiting the sharing (i.e. selling) of my information to others. I was just wondering if anyone actually went in and changed their privacy settings to limit the little bit they can of the "sharing".

I've never bothered to do it and I imagine if I did all that would happen is the junk mail would slow down a bit. However, some of that junk mail has had some good offers so I don't think I'd limit it anyway. Just curious if others have.

I have, but with no way to audit them who knows if they actually followed through. That was with US Bank. I do it on credit card companies privacy policies too.
