      Thanks for sharing that.
I have a question relating to it, that I had already discussed with my hubby before reading this article:

Is it worth getting a subscription to the newspaper to get the coupons in it? And Sunday's edition is the best? Which newspapers have the coupons (do all of them)? There are so many newspapers in our area... do I get a local one, or do I get a bigger city one, or do I get a national one?

        Nikki,
I personally would suggest if you are going to get the paper JUST for the coupons, that you go just for the Sunday edition. I would also suggest that unless your nearest big town paper is running a super duper special, it's not worth getting it delivered. For example, I live in the DFW metroplex. I can buy one copy of the Sunday edition of either the Fort Worth Star or the Dallas Telegram for $1.50. OR I can buy a two-newspaper bundle of either paper for either $1.99 (some gas stations) or $2.00. So, for ~$.50 cents more, I get twice as many coupons.

Also, on the weekends that there are no coupons, you can skip buying the paper (such as Thanksgivng weekend) so that will save you money. But if you have a subscription, you'll pay for that paper whether it has coupons in it or not.

I would suggest also that you get the newspaper from the largest town in your area, becuase you are more likely to get more of the available coupon inserts. Smaller town newspapers do have inserts in them, but they are usually much thinner, as well as usually only having one (Smart Source or Valasiss, but not both.)

        Hope this helps!
