  • Credit Card Stress

I think I'm suffering from credit card stress. I'm finding that I am not sleeping as well as I used to and I started to grind my teeth at night. My stomach seems to be upset all the time. I know there could be a lot of reasons for this, but I think it's because of the stress I have from my current credit card debt. What can I do to get rid of this credit card stress?

The most obvious answer would be to pay off the credit card debt.

If you can offer more specific numbers on you income, expenses and debt, I'm sure the folks in here can offer you soem good advice.

I agree. Post your details. The only way to get rid of the stress is to get rid of the debt, or at the very least, have a solid plan to start attacking the debt. You'll feel better when you know you are on the right track.

Slash your spending to the bare minimum and put every extra cent toward debt repayment (but first set aside a small emergency fund to cover unexpected stuff).

That's part of your problem. You need to know the details.

          Monthly income take home
Monthly expenses as detailed as possible. Include everything you can from the big stuff like rent and auto to little things like going to a movie or grabbing a candy bar at the vending machine.
List your debts with balance owed, interest rate and minimum Payment
