  • Some reflection on my 1000th post

Number 1000. Not impressive to some of the more active veterans on the site (Steve is getting a chuckle right now), but I must say that I've learned quite a lot during my time here. Over the last few years I've got my finances in order more than any other point in my life. I was always frugal and always a saver, but I never really had a plan of attack when it came to investments.

I can proudly say now that things have come together. My net worth continues to grow, and my debts continue to shrink. People close to me are even asking me for advice. I keep telling them that it isn't magic. Spend less than you earn and do a bit of planning.

Well, here's to my next 1000 posts and to my continuing education on all things financial.

Congrats on the milestone. I've appreciated your posts and input as I'm sure others have as well. We are all always learning. Though my post count may be higher, that certainly doesn't mean I know it all. I learn stuff on here every day by reading what others post.
