I found another "online auction" site that is totally free to use: Listia.com How it works:
You list your item (no charge)
People bid on your item using credits they've received from items they've given to winning bidders
When someone wins your item, you ship. You can choose whether or not to charge the winner for postage.
You can then use the credits you received to bid on something you'd like.
You get credits just for signing up and starting an account.
I listed two things: some books I found when cleaning out my closet and some premade scrapbook pages. I offered free shipping for both-I won't do that again for shipping books. I'll at least ask the winner to pay for half. I will continue to offer free shipping on my premade scrapbook pages though.
I'd like to get enough credits to get a gift card, but that could take awhile. It's one more way to get rid of junk-and it's kinda fun! I have to just be careful that I'm not trading my junk for someone elses
