Free ebay listing until January 7

Ebay is running a promotion from now until January 7. You can list up to 100 items per month with no listing fee. And this week, 11/3-11/10, you can also add Buy It Now for free. This is a great risk-free opportunity to try and raise some extra cash while getting rid of some clutter. I haven't been on ebay recently but as soon as I get home from our weekend trip, I'm definitely going to take advantage of this. I have a bunch of holiday stuff to sell and now is the perfect time for that. I'm sure I've got some other stuff worth listing too knowing that it won't cost me anything unless it sells.

It will not be long that ebay has free listings as the norm. Their final value fee along with paypal, which is also them, more than make up for the free listing. Anything to encourage people to use a service that has been struggling.

I've given up on ebay months ago. I've been selling on craigslist with great success. Granted some things are difficult to sell on clist since they do not attract the masses.

If I can't sell something on clist I more often than not donate it to goodwill or salvation army.

But for anyone who still uses ebay, this will save you money.
