One of our friends recently bought some land in a new development area. They plan to eventually build a home there. I guess one of the nearby lots came up for sale so he started bugging me about coming out to check it out. I was nice and told him thanks for thinking about us but its not really not the right time for us. He didnt' take my hint and said its only $570/month. I bit my tongue. Instead I wanted to hollar thats $570/month that would get away from my savings;570/month more than I want for land I don't need; and $570/month plus all the additional expenses I would start incurring trying to prep the land for building.
Especially after all the work he said he's been doing on his land...... its more time & money I don't have.
