I had an interesting talk with my sister over the weekend. Some of you are familiar with my earlier posts about her money problems, husband, etc.
Well, she is making great progress. She has taken 100% control of their money issues. Her husband is working 2 part time jobs and the occasional odd job. He gives her all the money now - every cent. She gives him gas money or whatever expense that comes up. I guess she got to the point of "give me the money, or just get out".
So far they have $12k in their EF. She has paid down his $45k note down to $25k now. It should be gone in the spring at this rate.
A few weeks ago we talked about fixing her car or buying another one. We ran the numbers and decided to fix her old one.
