Your pastor should be able to refer you to the agencies and services that help in the disaster you've described. Hw has the knowledge and connections that are helpful. You needn't be in their congregation...yet.

If you read through this site, you will quickly find that most people are more than willing to give you good advice on how to manage your money effectively. Post a budget and people will show you how to maximize your income against your needs. If you live near someone, maybe they can help you out with a job of some sort if they feel so inclined. No one on this site is going to write you a check, give you cash, or wire you money.

Anyone can help you here with good advice. There isn't enough information. But i'll give it a shot.

If your husband lost his job he might qualify for Unemployment. Also, check out your local charity; food, clothing, etc. Do you have fire insurance? IF so, start calling your insurance company. Finally, you should go to your local Social Welfare office and apply for food stamp until your husband finds a job.

          Good luck.
