when we put up the yard swing for winter one of the crazy looking hooks was lost. I am having no luck whatsoever finding one at Lowes, homedepot or online.... It is a 3 inch it looks like the letter c but bent at a 90 degree ....

I would hate to buy a new swing just cause i don't have a probably 3 dollar hook..

Does anyone know of a website that might sell such a hook? Thanks

Try calling the manufacturer. They may be willing to send a replacement. Or, if you have a friend with a passion for metal (there's more of them out there than you might expect), they could either machine you one, or take a different hook and re-form it to what you need. You could also look around at the nearest university or high school shop class for someone who could help you.

The manufacturer -- can't seem to find contact info only web pages of ppl trying to find spare parts and complaining about the customer non-service.

Thanks for the idea of the High school shop class, My son is gonna ask his teacher but he thinks it can be done.

        Have you checked Amazon.com?

Also, might it be possible to replace both hooks with something else that would do the job?

Steve I was thinking of that too, I found this springy hook on one of the websites but gonna wait and see if my son can make one in shop like Kork suggested.

well son wasnt able to make in shop class but I found something different, got that together then found they also lost the screw to the seat. urgh!! Told husband that next year they are to take a ziploc baggie and put all hardware in it immediatly. Otherwise he will do the running to find new odd parts.
