  • Any experience with Tuff Shed?

I've got the people from Tuff Shed (sold thru Home Depot) coming out tomorrow to build me a 12 x16 tool shed. They say it will be 100% complete in about 5 hours including paint and shingles.

It's kinda pricey, but it will be done quickly and I can finally get the lawn mower and a bunch of stuff out of my garage. I have little time to do this myself or hire and watch after a local carpenter. I love my lawn too much to have a 100% prefab delivered and set. This thing seems to be the least damaging to my precious grass.

So far they've been good to deal with. Anyone have experience with them?

My dad has a Tuff shed in his back yard. It has held up very well and he's had it for many years.

They're not bad. They are quick and easy to set up, you don't need a building permit, and they can be taken with you if you move. One of these weren't adequate for me however, so I decided to construct a more traditional shed in my yard for all of my yard equipment.

They came out as planned and put the shed up. It did take all day. It seems extremely sturdy to me. Fit and finish work is very good/as expected. Overall I'd say I'm happy with it and it was worth the money.
