Is public Transport really cheaper?

    Well then I guess public trans isn't for you. I kept saying, it really depends on your individual situation specifically how easy public trans is to get you were you need to go.

    I'm not really certain why you asked the question since you seem bent on not taking public trans.

      Sigh...wishing we had more public transport here in Tampa. I know that when I am in D.C. or New York I love it!

        Actually, I'm not the one who asked the question but I agree that the OP seems set against it.

        I agree with this, too. I have nothing against public transportation in general. My daughter and I took the train just this past week to get into Philadelphia for the flower show. When we are in NYC, we never use our car. We always use the subway to get around. And in DC, we always use the Metro. Boston is another place where we've used public transit to get around.

        It just happens to be the case that where we live, there isn't any convenient way to get from home to work via public transit.
