    1) cash flow to keep farm running
    2) paying off old debt from when we first started the farm
    3) keeping DH from buying more and more and more equipment

Procrastination, I make a plan based on careful research but delay taking action. This makes the plan obsolete as market conditions change. I particularly find it hard to sell losers when I recognize there is a problem. I wait too long and lose more than necessary. I've made the same New Year resolution for a couple of years...I will sell if the equity falls more than 10%. I don't seem to remember that I can re-buy when facts support the decision.

This is an easy question. Making money at my j*b.

              Saving it is easy.

Easy. Fear of health insurance being so high that we can never retire despite doing everything else in our power to be able to. bar none the answer.

Saving while going to school. This equates to saving up as much as we can in the next 3 years for when student loans come due, I have to find a job, we are kicked out of graduate housing, and we want to buy a house.

And fitting into that retirement, H's Masters and maybe having a kid.

                        Saving more money

I want to save up enough money for my kids' future and education. But I just can't seem to save enough money each month

Throwing away 15.3% of my income into an horrible government retirement program.

Started saving when I was 25. Both of my parents passed away before I was 16 so I lived on the street for a couple of years. Minors really have no rights. Anyways, that misfortune impressed me enough to never want to lose control over my circumstances again. I'm now 50 years old.

I bought into Bogle's (Vanguard) approach to saving and started putting the $166 month/2000 per year into my IRA...dollar cost averaging into the S&P 500. Other problem - got scared and switched out at the wrong time after the dot com bubble popped. I'm not at all where I thought I'd be with my retirement savings.

At this point I'm really distrustful of the economy, government's handling of the economy, financial institutions and fiat money system. Very easy for me to fall off the saving bandwagon and go out and buy stuff I don't need. Not always logical about the money/happiness/emotional thing.

Currently, no credit card debt, only a small mortgage payment. Put 50% down on the house. Have an Army retirement coming in and am now a CPA. Roughly living on 60% of my income and saving 40%.

Lots of things outta control...especially the guy in the mirror (LOL).
