  • update on new job...

I posted previously wondering about how I was gonna survive the month with out a paycheck from switching jobs. I had thought I would need to take a 401k withdrawel.

Well I got my first paycheck today and I didn't take anything from my 401k or borrowed from anyone.

I paid my mortgage 16 days late but only 6 days late of the grace period. I made the dinner menu out of what i already had purchased and bought minimal groceries.
It helped that the utilitie had been way overestimating my bills so the last one they happened to come by to read while someone was home for a change... so it was only 23.

whew! glad that is over! I paid a whole lot of bills this am when the direct deposit showed up. (whole lot of little bills)

Ah, you made it! Hope this new job allows you to pull forward in your finances so that you will first have a little cushion in your month to month checkbook balance, and then so that you will be able to build up a good emergency savings. Remember to use the IRS's calcualtor to see where you really need to set your withholding for this job.

Good luck in this new work. May it be more personally fulfilling and interesting for you, beneficial to your clients, and a good step toward your family's happiness and security.
